This manual is the first printing of the Field Crop Integrated Pest management Training and Reference manual produced by the field Crop IPM Staff of the Pennsylvania State University.  The authors have written and developed information that is specific to Pennsylvania and have drawn on other high quality resources from other land-grant universities and private businesses.

The authors would like to express their appreciation and acknowledge the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture, Pennsylvania Association of Conservation Districts, and Penn State IPM Program for their support and funds to develop the manual.  Partial funding for the manual was provided by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection/Chesapeake Bay Program.  Without these funds and their insights into the need for a consolidated reference of IPM information, this manual would not have been possible.
