Display Resources Available for "BugMobile" Events

1. Informational Materials
Many types of materials are available to help you deliver the IPM message. See the attached
checklist of publications* for what is currently available. Have fact sheets on hand that are timely
and appropriate to your audience.

IPM Displays
• We have various IPM display boards that may be borrowed for FREE.

• Insect Sound Board
• Insect “Peep Show” - Requires power source
• Pinned insects
• Color posters of insects: 10 Most Wanted
• Got Ants?

• Color poster of weeds
• Two dissecting type microscopes are available-any material (insects, plants, etc.) will amaze
your audience.

Live Insects
• Madagascar hissing roaches
• Mealworms

These insects may be borrowed if someone is willing to care for them.

Fun Give-Aways (Order must be placed with PA IPM person at least 3 weeks in advance)
• Live ladybugs for distribution to children (one per plastic cup) can be ordered for you free
of charge. Beneficial insects provided courtesy of a BugMobile! supporter, IPM Labs, in
Locke, New York.
• "Bugloons" - helium balloons with ladybug IPM saying and logo (see attached sheets for
pricing)
• IPM Pencils
• IPM Lady Bug Tattoos
• Pyramid of IPM Tactics – a cutout to color and assemble (see attached sheets for pricing).

IPM Videos
We have a series of IPM and insect ID videos that may be borrowed for FREE. Check the list on
our website http://paipm.cas.psu.edu/videos.html. In our experience, at a very active display,
most people do not really watch videos.

Children's Books
We have a small collection of children's books that may be borrowed for FREE. These books deal
with insects, weeds, and some “pest” concepts.
